Concentration 8
This piece was one of the most difficult to even conjure up. For a while I never knew exactly what composition I thought would make this scene look very interesting or how it could tell a story. The composition I chose I liked a lot because even though it didn't have a close up or anything it still has a very fun theme. How there is still a tiny person but it is subtle. I think the fountain came out really nice but the background was really difficult to come up with. In my reference picture there were a lot of plants everywhere and I didn't know how to color every individual leaf and branch especially because didn't have enough time. I decided to color the initial trees then dark green to rest of the background to add more depth. Overall, I think this piece came out pretty good I just wish I had had more time to color each individual tree the way I wanted them look. Throughout this piece I learned how to draw and color trees and make them look like they have many leaves without drawing every individual leaf. I also learned how to make something look like it has more to it even though I a little amount of pencil color.
