AP Art Reflection
Dear Ms. Rossi
Let me tell you about my journey through AP Art. This class was not easy. It's a lot of hard work, sweat, and tears, but it is all very much worth it.
Although this class was very difficult, it has memories that I will always remember. This class has a very big work side but it also has a big experience side as well. Never in a class have I ever I done so many events outside of school. All still having a lot of work and prep but still very fun and rewarding. I think that was one of my favorite parts of this class. At first whenever we had an event, and we were required to go to them, I would feel a little annoyed but also excited that I HAD to go. But, after every event I felt that I had so much fun and glad that I was apart of something where I could spend time with friends and also show off some cool art.
The people I met in this class made coming to school worth it and almost make me not want leave so soon. They helped me with art, they gave me great advice, and we all shared some laughs together. You come into this class and you have to spend a whole school year with these people so you are bound to make a few friends. My class, we felt like a family by the end of the class, which I keep telling people is not fair, because right after all this we have to separate. I had a great time with these people and I will truly miss all of them.
I think this class was definitely a learning experience for me. I learned that sometimes it's so much easier to be lazy but in the end if you just put in even a little effort it can go a long way. I learned that art is a lot more work than people think it is. I also learned what goes into things like selling art and having your own art show, which was pretty cool. This class have given me so much, I am really glad that I can look back on this and see how far I have come since the beginning. Although, this class was hectic and difficult at times, it has definitely given me something that I can look back on and remember as a good time.

Concentration: "Honey, Who Shrunk the Kids?"
What is a concentration? : A body of work unified by an underlying idea that has visual coherence
My concentration is centered around a group of teenagers who are all living in someone house but here is the thing-- they are veeery tiny. Throughout my pieces you can see them have different adventures throughout the house and how they adapt to the world around them.
